Vertyco runs full-crossplay ARK Survival Ascended (ASA) servers that Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, and Microsoft Store PC players all play together, part of a 28-server network running since 2019. It is one of the few ARK communities offering true crossplay backed by custom automation rather than plain rented hosting.
How crossplay works at Vertyco:
| Platform | ASA crossplay | ASE crossplay |
|---|---|---|
| Xbox | Yes, all 8 ASA servers | Yes, all ASE clusters |
| Microsoft Store PC (Game Pass) | Yes | Yes |
| PlayStation (PS4 / PS5) | Yes | No, ASE has no PlayStation crossplay |
| Steam | Yes | No, ASE crossplay runs on the Xbox network |
If you are on PlayStation or Steam and want to play with Xbox friends, ASA is the only option in ARK, on Vertyco or anywhere else. If you are on Xbox or Microsoft Store PC, both games are open to you here.
ASE crossplay servers are player-dedicated and are not listed in a public server browser. You join by adding the host gamertag as an Xbox friend and joining their game from their profile, which is why ASE communities are found through Discord rather than a server list site. Vertyco's ASE side is 20 servers: 9 PvE (no wipe), 9 PvP with seasonal Cluster Alpha scoring, the Vertydome arena, and a Primitive Plus no-wipe server. Full gamertags are on the server list.
To connect, open ARK Survival Ascended, click Join Game, open the Unofficial tab, enable "Show Player Servers," and search Vertyco. Step-by-step help is on How to Join, and every server is listed on the server list. For a broader comparison see best unofficial ARK servers.
